What are the garage hours?
Government Center Garage is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Where is the garage located?
The Garage entrances are located at 125 Bowker St. or 50 Sudbury St, Boston, MA 02114. The New Chardon Street entrance faces the new Edward W. Brooke courthouse and the West End. The Sudbury Street entrance faces Government Center/City Hall Plaza.

What forms of payment are accepted at Government Center Garage?
We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Cards.

Can I leave my vehicle parked in the garage overnight?
Yes, the Garage is open and staffed 24/7. Our daily rates are programmed from 5 a.m. to 5 a.m. – vehicles exiting after 5 a.m. will be charged for an additional day of parking. We also offer a Monthly Overnight Pass for those parkers who live in the area.

Where is the Garage Office located?
The Office is located on parking level 3 on the Sudbury side of the building across from the exit lanes.

What is the parking rate during events at TD Banknorth Garden?
The rate during events at the Garden is $30.00. This rate is valid for up to 8 hours during Garden events.

What is the height clearance in the Garage?
The clearance/height restriction is 6’2”. The New Chardon Street Entrance offers a limited number of spaces for oversized vehicles with a clearance of 7’.

Do you offer discounted parking for frequent parkers?
The Park ‘N Go Discount Card is a pre-paid program where parkers receive 20% off the regular daily rates. This program is perfect for parkers who visit the garage often, but not necessarily on a daily basis.

What is the Park ‘N Go Card?
The Park ‘N Go Card is a pre-paid parking program that allows parkers to save 20% off the daily parking rates. The garage pass automatically deducts parking charges from your pre-paid balance.

Is there a minimum amount that I need to load onto the card?
Initially a $100 balance is placed on the card and a one-time $15.00 processing fee is charged. Once enrolled you will have the option to reload the card for any amount you choose. For your convenience the card can be automatically reloaded using a valid credit card.

If I no longer wish to park in the garage is the balance refundable?
The Park ‘N Go card is a pre-paid program and is non-refundable. Please see the terms and conditions on The Park ‘N Go Card form for additional details.

How do I apply for the Park ‘N Go card?
Simply complete the Park ‘N Go Application and return it along with payment to the Garage Office located on the 3rd level of the Garage. A Park ‘N Go Access Card will be issued to you at this time.

What do I do if my Park ‘N Go access card is lost?
Lost cards will be replaced for a $15.00 fee. You can obtain a new card at the Garage Office located on the 3rd level of the Garage. The balance from your lost card will be transferred to the new card at that time.

How do I know the balance on my Park ‘N Go card?
Your current balance is displayed when you exit the garage. You may also contact the garage office at 617-227-0385.
